Short Story
To survive, Emmanuel begs for food or does menial jobs like fetching water and firewood. Like many orphans, he starts each school year already left behind, not because he’s not brilliant, but because poverty has stolen his tools for success.
That’s why Sir KDN Foundation created the Back to School Project for Orphans, to give children like Emmanuel school bags, textbooks, uniforms, and the joy of knowing someone cares. But the need is greater than our resources.
Your support makes you the hero in Emmanuel’s story. You’re not just buying a bag, you’re giving him the courage to dream. You’re not just donating books, you’re also opening the door to his future. And in return, you’ll have the priceless joy of knowing you sent a child back to school with dignity and hope.
Every ₦5,000 puts a complete set of supplies in an orphan’s hands. Together, we can give them more than school but we can give them back their tomorrow.

Campaign Story
Somewhere in my community, there’s a boy named Emmanuel. He’s only 9 years old, but life has already handed him more than his small shoulders should carry. Emmanuel lost both parents two years ago, and ever since, every new school term has been a painful reminder of what he’s missing; not just love, but the simple things every child should have: books, a school bag, clean uniforms, and the confidence to walk into class like every other child.
Not only that, Emmanuel is left to survive on peoples’ messies. Most often, he goes to different homes, begging for food to eat; often times he engage in menial and tough jobs like fetching water for people, fetching firewood, helping people with their farm work, etc just to eat.
The problem is simple but heartbreaking, so many orphans like Emmanuel start the school year already left behind. Not because they’re not brilliant, not because they don’t want to learn, but because poverty and loss have robbed them of the tools they need to succeed. When other children are showing off new school shoes, they walk barefoot. When others are flipping through fresh exercise books, they sit quietly, hoping a kind teacher will let them share. That is for those who manage to remain in school.
That is why Sir KDN Foundation is stepping in with the Back to School Project for Orphans.
Our mission is to make sure children like Emmanuel start the school year with their mates: heads held high… armed with school bags, textbooks, uniforms, writing materials, and the joy of knowing someone cares enough to invest in their future.
But here’s the gap: the need is bigger than our current resources. We have willing hands, we have a plan, we have children who are eager to learn… but without enough support, many of them will still be left out this school year. This is where you come in…
When you support this project, you become the hero in Emmanuel’s story. You’re not just buying a bag but you’re also giving him the courage to dream. You’re not just donating books, you’re handing him the keys to a future where he can read, write, and rewrite his life’s story.
And in return, you receive something priceless which is the joy of knowing that because of you, a child was sent back to school with dignity, hope, and with a smile that cannot be bought. You’ll see your impact in their progress reports, in their stories, and in the ripple effect your kindness creates in their lives.
Every ₦5,000 you give can put a complete set of school supplies in the hands of an orphan who needs it. Imagine what your ₦10,000, ₦20,000, or more could do. Together, we can make sure no child stays back at home, without hope this school year.
This isn’t just about school. This is about giving them back their tomorrow.
